SINS 2025
Countdown
Introducing
SINS 2025

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, under the aegis of the Governing Board of the Society, we are pleased to inform you that the next National Congress of the Italian Society for Neuroscience (SINS) will be held in Pisa, from September 10th to 13th, 2025.
We have secured the participation of worldwide leaders in the many disciplines represented in our Society, who will deliver the Presidential Lecture and the other Plenary Lectures (6 in all). As always, we count on contributions from the Society, in the form of symposium proposals and abstracts, to set up an exciting multidisciplinary scientific program that will dedicate particular attention to contributions by our younger colleagues. The program will include special interest lectures, events, satellite sessions, poster sessions, and networking opportunities, with ample space for sharing scientific material and visiting our Sponsors’ booths.
The Congress will be hosted in the historic center of Pisa, a wonderful and dynamic city with an outstanding heritage and many attractions within walking distance, including perfect places to meet with friends and colleagues.
We are excited to bring the community and celebrate neuroscience in Pisa.
We look forward to meeting you all!

A Historic Setting for Neuroscience
Congress Venue
The SINS 2025 Congress will take place in the heart of Pisa’s historic city center, a setting rich in art, culture, and architectural beauty. The main venue will be the Teatro Verdi, a splendid 19th-century opera house renowned for its elegant interiors and remarkable acoustics. Here, the plenary hall will be set up, along with the poster area, catering zones for lunches and coffee breaks, the registration desk, and the slide center.
Parallel sessions will be hosted in two nearby venues. One is the Gipsoteca di Arte Antica, a charming museum space that houses classical sculptures and casts, offering a unique and inspiring atmosphere for scientific exchange. The other is the Multisala Odeon, a modern multi-screen cinema complex just a few steps from the theatre, which will accommodate four additional parallel session rooms.
