Guidelines for Poster Presentations

Please find below important information regarding the poster sessions and presentation format:

Poster Display

Posters will be on display on Thursday, September 11 and Friday, September 12, starting from 08:15.

Different posters will be presented each day.

The specific day assigned for your poster presentation is indicated in the Poster Index section of the Congress Book and on the Poster Exhibition page of this website.

Author Attendance

Presenting authors are kindly requested to be available at their poster during the session to which they have been assigned.

There will be two sessions per day:

  • Session 1: 15:20–16:30 → authors of posters with odd numbers
  • Session 2: 16:30–17:40 → authors of posters with even numbers

The evaluation committee, responsible for the Best Poster Awards, will visit and discuss posters exclusively during these sessions.

Poster Preparation

Posters must be printed in portrait orientation (vertical).

Maximum size: A0 (84.1 cm width × 118.9 cm height). Please do not exceed these dimensions.

The Abstract title, author(s), and affiliation(s) must appear clearly at the top.

The content should be legible from a distance of 2 meters.

Please bring your printed poster with you to the congress. Onsite printing will not be available.

Poster Numbering System

Each poster space is identified by a short code (e.g., 3.L.02), which indicates:

  • 3.: the floor or level (1 = first level, 2 = second level, 3 = third level, 4 = first gallery, 5 = second gallery)
  • L.: the side of the corridor (L = left, R = right)
  • 02: the position of the poster within that corridor

The full poster code, including the presentation day (e.g., Th-3.L.02), is listed in the Congress Book and on the Poster Exhibition page of this website.

Please note: Only the short code (e.g., 3.L.02) will be displayed on the physical poster boards. Ensure you mount your poster on the correct space corresponding to your assigned short code.

For any questions or support, please refer to the registration desk on site.

Mounting and Removal

Poster boards will be accessible from 08:15 on your assigned presentation day.

All posters must be mounted by 08:30 and remain in place until 18:30.

Posters must be removed by the end of the same day. Unremoved posters will be discarded by the staff.

Pins for mounting will be available near the boards.

By following these guidelines, you will help ensure a smooth and successful experience both for yourself and for the audience.
